About Nathalie…

Nathalie Migneault, born in Baie-Comeau, leaves the Côte-Nord of Quebec in 1991 to run across Canada from east to west, and then away for five years in the Middle East. Returning to Quebec in 2002, she settled on the South Shore of Montreal. Despite her many travels, her brushes and tubes of pigments have always followed her.

“I’m interested in all forms of art. As a child, I was captivated by an art show on TV, with demonstrations of painting, gluing and assembling fresco using everyday objects. Fascinated, I experimented and made gifts for my family. From a self-taught beginning, curiosity, appetite for research, and desire to deepen a painting know-how led me to an academic training. I started attending painting classes with Claudette Delisle-Menier from Arts visuels Roussillon, and then benefited from the good advices of Anne Van Mierlo and Ian Le Gwen. I still attend their workshops regularly at La Maison des Arts Rive-Sud. I pursued my artistic exploration obtaining a Bachelor degree in 2016.”
